Position overview
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by combining hands-on testing with a strong focus on improving how quality is built into our development process.
You’ll work closely with engineers and product teams to prevent issues before they reach production, improve testing practices, and support reliable, high-quality releases.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the product, actively testing, and influencing how quality is approached within a fast-growing team.
Your Day to Day
Perform hands-on quality assurance across core product areas

Ensure consistent QA standards and testing practices across multiple teams
Actively collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers
Identify quality risks early and ensure issues are caught before production
Review and improve existing QA processes, tools, and workflows
Support release preparation and act as a quality owner for release readiness
Drive clarity around ownership, communication, and expectations related to product quality
What We Are Looking For
Proven QA experience, ideally with IoT systems (physical device with companion apps)
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and release processes
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Proven ability to identify risk areas and prevent regressions

Critical thinking – you question assumptions and think beyond happy paths
Proactive communication – you raise risks early and communicate clearly with engineers and product
Collaboration – you work effectively in cross-functional teams without silos
Problem-solving attitude – you focus on solutions, not just identifying issues
Adaptability – you’re comfortable in a fast-changing startup environment
Continuous improvement mindset – you look for ways to improve processes, not just follow them
