About the Role
We are looking for a sharp Ecommerce Merchandiser / Merchandising Manager to take full horizontal ownership of accessory monetization. This is not a general CRO role; it is a revenue ownership role focused exclusively on accessory performance.
Your mission is to ensure that as our device volume grows, our accessory revenue scales even faster. You will own the growth of accessory AOV (Average Order Value) and attach rates across the entire purchase journey—including pre-purchase bundles, checkout add-ons, and post-purchase flows.
This role requires someone who understands pricing psychology, checkout optimization, and monetization experiments—and can both design the strategy and execute it hands-on to drive millions in incremental revenue.
What you will do
Own accessory monetization strategy end-to-end to maximize revenue per customer.
Design and optimize bundle architecture, including tiered systems and "no-brainer" offers.
Build and scale upsell systems, specifically checkout add-ons and post-purchase one-click upsells.
Run continuous AOV-focused experiments (10-15+ per quarter) with a clinical focus on financial impact.
Identify pricing and positioning opportunities to improve the accessory attach rate by 40–60%.
Build a monthly monetization roadmap and report directly on AOV performance and incremental revenue impact.
Collaborate with Growth, Product, and Analytics to align accessory offers with acquisition funnels.
What We Expect
2+ years in eCommerce monetization or growth roles with a focus on AOV.
Proven track record of implementing bundle and upsell systems that moved the needle.
Strong analytical testing mindset — you value statistical rigor over "gut feelings."
Deep understanding of pricing psychology and consumer behavior in a DTC environment.
Shopify / Checkout optimization expertise — you know the tools and the tech to make it happen.
Quantified impact — you can point to specific revenue lifts you’ve triggered in past roles.
Ownership mindset — you don't blame traffic; you focus on the monetization structure.
Nice to Have
Experience scaling 8–9 figure DTC brands.
Background in subscription or app monetization.
Experience with high-ticket wellness or health-tech products.
What Success Looks Like
Month 1: Completed audit, monetization gap analysis, and a 90-day roadmap with first tests live.
Month 3: A measurable AOV increase of +$5–$8 and a +20% improvement in attach rate.
Year 1: Increasing accessory AOV from $25 to $40–$50 and ensuring post-purchase contributes ≥20% of accessory revenue.
